Making the right type of list

John Gottman’s research reveals marriages in trouble rewrite their history. They forget there were ever good times. They think they’ve never had sex 3 or 4 times a week. They forget why they married each other in the first place. They can’t remember anything good. They keep a list of wrongs.

And satan wins.

Make a list of all the great things about your wife, your marriage and your family; and then share it with your wife.

“Love is patient and kind, not jealous, not boastful, not proud, rude or selfish, not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4-5

Be Strong. Act Like Men.
